선발 데뷔전

지난 주 토요일날 곰목도리님이 드디어 현지에서 선발투수로 등판을 했습니다.

첫번째 경기는 우익수로 출전하여 멋지고 안정적인 수비의 모습을 보여주고 첫 타석에서는 멋지게 안타를 쳤고, 두번째 경기에서는 우익수를 하다 중간에 구원투수를 하였습니다.

지난주에 드디어 세번째 경기에서 선발투수로 출전하여, 깔끔하고 인상적으로 4이닝 2실점을 하고 시즌 개막 후 팀 2패후에 첫 승을 만들었습니다..^^;

East Torrens 8 defeated Sturt 5

This week we came up against Sturt who were 1-1 on this young season. It was a bit of a struggle before the game, struggling for numbers, must thank Ralphy, Curtis and DR for sticking round after the 5s.
As for the game, Hyunggi got the start for us and was stellar in his first start. He went 4inn only giving up 2 in the first. We were much more aggressive in the box to start this week, putting the ball in play and putting pressure on their D. We scored 2 in the second, third & fourth to take a 6-2 lead. Dave came on for a tiring Hyunggi in the 5th and kept them quiet again. In the 5th Sturt were able to add 3 runs, due to a few walks and timely hits, to make it a tighter game. In the bottom half we responded and gave ourselves some breathing room with a double from Curtis over the CF head scoring 2. Dave responded in the 6th shutting them down and preserving our first win 8-5.

팀에 합류한 이후 두 달여간 꾸준히 성실하게 주2회의 연습에 참여하고 물론 기본적인 실력도 갖추고 있으니(ㅋㅋ^^) 처음에는 대면대면하던 팀 동료들도 이제는 그의 존재를 인정해주는 것 같다고 합니다. 성실함은 곰목도리님의 대표적인 수식어인 것 같습니다^^

내일도 경기가 있는데 어떤 경기가 될 지 궁금하네요...
